The Household & Commercial Products Association's (HCPA) virtual mid-year meeting webinar series, IMPACT2020, focused on public policy issues impacting the household and commercial products industry. The third annual Chemical Watch Expo was a two-day event for regulatory professionals from around the world to take part in practical, topical workshops and to seek their next service to help with chemical regulatory compliance throughout the supply chain.  Lynn L. The SCHC Spring 2018 Meeting included professional development courses, a board meeting open to all members, and a general meeting with poster session. Michael S. The 3rd Annual Biocides USA Conference, presented by Chemical Watch, covered new developments in the US and around the world.  On March 30th, Acta Senior Regulatory Consultant Michael S. Wenk, M.S. presented on biocidal regulations in Latin America including common themes, Mercosur and Andean community, Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico.

In response to the many requests we've received, Acta Senior Regulatory Consultants Michael S. Wenk, M.S. and Karin F. Baron, MSPH presented a follow-up to our November 2016 webinar Current Opportunities and Challenges with Chemical Substance Regulation in Mexico and Central and South America and examined the chemical substance regulations of several additional countries in the region, whose regulatory environments are generally not well-known or understood.  Exploring the requirements of Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, Uruguay, and Venezuela, the webinar presented a comprehensive overview of the key requirements that firms should be aware of when manufacturing or importing chemical substances.
