The two day Asia Hub Summit USA provided an opportunity to hear from regulators and speakers from industry, who provided their perspectives on both the regulations themselves and best practices for staying compliant. The Toxic Chemicals Control Act (TCCA) of 1991 -- the key law addressing the basic management of industrial chemicals -- will be divided, as of January 1, 2015, into two regulatory schemes: South Korea's newly minted chemical management law, the Act on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical Substances that has come to be called K-REACH, and the Chemical Control Act (CCA). The Acta Group will present a complimentary webinar to assist companies in preparing for K-REACH. The webinar will presented at two times on Thursday, December 4, 2014: 11:00 a.m. (GMT) for EU participants, and 1:30 p.m. (EST) for U.S. participants.
