TSCA Reform: One Year Later Conference, June 27, 2017, Washington D.C. and via Webinar

Join the Environmental Law Institute (ELI) and the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health for a day-long "TSCA Reform: One Year Later" conference exploring the federal government’s implementation of the Frank R. On February 9, 2015, the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) published the "Enforcement Guidance for the Hazard Communication Standard's (HCS) June 1, 2015, Effective Date " (Guidance). The Guidance offers important insights into OSHA's HCS enforcement strategy and is a must read for stakeholders. B&C, Acta, and 3E Company are pleased to present a complimentary webinar on the steps companies should take between now and June 1, 2015, to comply fully with HCS, or else to document sufficient diligence toward full compliance to avoid enforcement action.

The Toxic Chemicals Control Act (TCCA) of 1991 -- the key law addressing the basic management of industrial chemicals -- will be divided, as of January 1, 2015, into two regulatory schemes: South Korea's newly minted chemical management law, the Act on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical Substances that has come to be called K-REACH, and the Chemical Control Act (CCA). The Acta Group will present a complimentary webinar to assist companies in preparing for K-REACH. The webinar will presented at two times on Thursday, December 4, 2014: 11:00 a.m. (GMT) for EU participants, and 1:30 p.m. (EST) for U.S. participants.

HazCom 2012, which mandates alignment with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS), adds the US to a growing number of countries adopting a GHS-based hazard communication approach.
